Desperate Fans

Unlike multitudes of adult residents past when faced with an injured teenager, Kade doesn't lead Mercutio to rooms near his own. He's used to being a headmaster of injured teenagers; he trusts them to take care of themselves and make it known when they cannot. Instead, he leads Mercutio to a set of rooms he's reasonably sure are still open, back from when he was first trying to decide between something easy (already-appointed) and something more to his tastes (the attic, which he had to set up himself).

"Pick your poison," he says, once they arrive, and gestures at several (small-d) doors.
