It's almost Halloween in the world of the mansion spirits -- so it's time for some fun! These words have ominously appeared on one of the mansion walls and if a character even so much as looks their way or glances at them, they will either de-age or age up. Let's just be glad it isn't waves of blood of threatening twins.

Welcome to Kidmas v 2.0! A bit of a throwback to "i want to play a game". This is the first of two age-manipulation posts! Your characters can either be de-aged or aged up -- and while it's recommended to split multiple characters up between the two posts (mostly for the anti-captcha comment load), the time streams will mesh so that different affected versions can interact with each other. Ageing/de-aging and their memory of these events are by typist discretion, as always. Have fun playing!

"Mn." Lan Zhan nods, accepting this easily. Dragons are powerful and benevolent creatures; they can grant whatever sort of boons strike their fancy. He strokes Danding's cheek with the utmost care not to disturb him as he nibbles. "Do they know the rabbit who lives on the moon? Yutu?"

"Hey guys," Magnus says, with a little formal nod to first Danding and then Xiaoxue. "Do you guys know Yutu the moon-rabbit?"

"Why isn't it nice?" Galahad tilts his head. "It's true. I don't want you to go to Hell."

Thirty-six is impossibly old -- it's older than Christ was when he was hanged on the tree. Galahad's blue eyes are huge.

The nuns don't have any horses, and even the men who come with supplies from outside usually drive donkeys or mules or oxen. "Yes, please," he says.

It's obvious that he's giving it due consideration, if only because of the long pause. Constance seems kind, and he likes her quietness. And he doesn't want to be alone.

"Yes, please," he says. "I'll be quiet."

Dionysus is going to die at how cute Étienne is. He can't die, it's impossible, but if he could he would be dying right now. "Oh, that's right! I remember hearing about this now. You tell the story wonderfully, my dear. Do you like telling stories?"

"Oh goodness no, I don't have a fear of the dead! Some of my very favorite people in the world are dead. ...Plus, my favorite sister is the queen of the afterlife. No, no it's definitely a fear of frogs. Never cared for 'em."

"She's okay," Magnus says, and then immediately adds, "Okay, I know this isn't cool to say, but she's the best. She's great. I really love her. She's, like, my best friend."

Sunny follows behind, setting her light up shoes carefully in one of the cubbies. She will be requiring assistance to get up in the bouncy castle, as she is very small still despite being a full grown independent boss CEO future president demon lord baby.

"It sounds really mean, and Mom says that's what people say when they want to control your behavior."

Fondness crashes through Sagramore like a wave. "I'm glad."

"I like it all right. Do you?"

"It's not like he's bigger than a door, Apu! He's only," and she holds her hand up to indicate a size that is somewhere around either a lion's size or a horse's size, but definitely smaller than what Temeraire would have been the last time Sagramore saw him, and that's the important takeaway here.

"Or else what? They get in trouble? Who puts them in trouble?"

[biteybaby]

"No," she says like she's going to follow that up with an explanation, but said explanation never comes. Just trust her on this.

She gives him one last big squeeze before she pulls back and looks up at him. "Sorry for spoiling your surprise, Magnus."
