It's almost Halloween in the world of the mansion spirits -- so it's time for some fun! These words have ominously appeared on one of the mansion walls and if a character even so much as looks their way or glances at them, they will either de-age or age up. Let's just be glad it isn't waves of blood of threatening twins.

Welcome to Kidmas v 2.0! A bit of a throwback to "i want to play a game". This is the first of two age-manipulation posts! Your characters can either be de-aged or aged up -- and while it's recommended to split multiple characters up between the two posts (mostly for the anti-captcha comment load), the time streams will mesh so that different affected versions can interact with each other. Ageing/de-aging and their memory of these events are by typist discretion, as always. Have fun playing!

"Didst thou get Crowley to dye it this morning?" Then, remembering her manners or whatever, she adds, "It's not bad. I just wasn't expecting it to be different."

This, at least, isn't a tiny child like all the rest Susan has seen so far. "Good morning," she tells the girl.

Gideon stares at her. "Who the hell is the Rainbow Princess?" She pronounces hell with extra relish, because there's no one here to smack her for it. The Third House has princesses, she's pretty sure, but she doesn't think either of them are rainbow.<sup>1

"Hello! I was just exploring. I've already found so many different and strange rooms. This one doesn't really seem that strange but it might just be hiding something that I don't know about yet. But that seems kind of unlikely if you're using it. Unless it's something strange and useful, which I suppose is possible but useful can be dull so that would be strange and dull, not strange and exciting."

"It's okay, you'll be normal by tomorrow." Then she adds, "I'm your sister, Sunny."

"Red?" Gideon demands incredulously. "Are you trying to insult me? Get in line. It's real long, basically the whole planet." She grabs the other girl's hand to look at her ring. "And it's not a stupid question. I've never seen one of these before. What's it interface with?"

[papadopoulos]

Apollo is humming and strumming a song on the lyre, and stops, bemused, when he sees a small someone with pink hair at the kitchen.

"I like the look," he says cheerfully. Has he missed another new arrival? "What are you making?"

[biteybaby]

She's looking over the fruit options when he asks that, and she looks up and just stares at him. "Really?! It's not amnesia day again, is it? They just did that two months ago."

He blinks. "Not that I know of," he says carefully. "Although I truly would not be surprised. Either way, it is clearly some sort of event, as you appear to know me."

He considers for a moment, but takes Grantaire's hand carefully and stands.

"Oh." Magnus makes a face, and then, apologetically, says, "I can't call you that though. I promised you -- grown up adult-shaped adult version you -- that I wouldn't say that name."

"Tomorrow???" Magnus grimaces. "Mom is going to be so mad."

A long silence passes. Lan Zhan's expression has gone notably blank. At the end of that silence, he says, with frustration, "I don't understand." He hates not to understand.

Magnus blinks. "My sister????" He would definitely remember if Mom had another baby. Does that mean... "Do you know my dad?" Magnus sure doesn't!

[summerdude]

"Okay. I'm explaining really bad, huh?" Magnus plops down on the ground next to his dad's family member's itty bitty baby form. "Hi. I'm Magnus. I'm your... um, friend. Usually you're, like, forty years old and a lot taller and like a, um, adult-shaped-adult to me. I don't know why you're a kid now. I'm sorry if I'm overwhelming you. But, um, usually since you're a lot older than me, it's rude if I call you your, um, birth name or whatever?"

[biteybaby]

"Thought not," Sunny says with a sigh. "I'm Sunny. Nice to meet you." Again. Ugh. Mansion spirits, come on, pick a new idea! Or at least reuse a fun idea. Everyone Is Animals Day was a lot of fun, they could bring that one back, but nooooo they're bringing back the one where nobody knows who she is.

"Daddies," she says and points her tiny little finger in the direction of her house.

He leads Enjolras out to the hallway, off to look for somewhere with clothes. "What's it like in Toulouse? I've never been there."
