[Re-Introduction: Sir Dinadan]

Dinadan awakens, which is already several positive steps ahead of where he thought he'd be this morning (viz. in the void from which there is no awakening, or in the hereafter that he has done nothing particularly to avoid). A giddy thrill of relief washes through him. He cautiously cracks one eye open, and then the other. For a moment, the sunlight's brightness overwhelms him--an aching reminder that he is, somehow, alive.

But as the sunlight becomes bearable, he realizes that he is somehow, impossibly, once again, in Sagramore's cabbages.


"Christ, do you really only have one joke?" he calls to the sky--but he's grinning all the same. A life condemned to cabbages is better than a death condemned to Hell or the void, and given those are the only two options, he'll gladly take the cabbages.

Friends and strangers may find a tall, blond knight minstrel wandering around in Sagramore's borrowed clothes, occasionally strumming his rebec, definitely not touching anything he shouldn't.

"Okay, most of the time."

"That's what I thought."

"Oh! Speaking of, would you like some wine?"

"How good of you to ask!" A deep bow. "I'd be delighted."

As is a common sight for people in the mansion by now, but likely decidedly uncommon of a sight for newly-arrived Dinadan, Dionysus makes a tangle of vines appear in the air that fade away, leaving behind two glasses of a nice red wine. He hands one to Dinadan with a smile. "All yours!"

"That is a perk," says Dinadan, eyes widening. He reaches out to take a glass, and sips. "Quite a good vintage, too."

“I’m glad you like it! If you ever want any others, or anything specific let me know. I can make whatever wine you’d like, so long as it’s a grape-based on and not a rice wine or anything — oh! Actually I can make mead now too, I have my thyrsus back, it usually stays in my rooms though so that I don’t lose it again-“

"Now that's interesting--wine doesn't require any special accoutrements?"

[vineleaves]

"Nah, I can do anything grape-based. Can't make honey on my own though. Oh, I can make glass and metal and such though."

[rebecs_with_the_straps]

Dinadan tilts his head. "Why glass and metal? I admit, I'm no more a glassblower or a jeweler than I am a grape-farmer, but I'm fairly sure those aren't ... made of grapes."

"Imagine if I could make wine, but not anything to keep it in! That would be entirely too messy."
