Introducing Benvolio

Waking up in a strange bedroom, in a strange house, was bad enough, but then when Benvolio finally made his way to the front door he was greeted by snow outside. Summer might be coming to an end, but it definitely is not snow weather yet, nor is Benvolio dressed for such, in his black silk doublet, black and blue trimmed trunk hose, and black stockings. He does have shoes on, thankfully, though he can't imagine how he would have fallen asleep wearing shoes. It's not like he's had much opportunity to celebrate to the point of blacking out lately, after all.

Regardless, he takes one look at the snow outside and decides to shut the door and instead turn his attention to the table covered in different pamphlets and papers. He has many questions.

"By giving thee something to work on?"

"Got it in one. My dream is nonstop projects and the time to focus on 'em."

"Couldst always just make surprise outfits for everyone. Though I suppose thou wouldst need their measurements first."

Kade laughs. "Say, now there's an idea!"

[keep_the_peace]

"Thou couldst invent a new trend in fashion."

[kadewest]

That's not really Kade's style--his passion is making clothes that suit the wearer perfectly--but he's not exactly going to divert the conversation by saying so. "Yeah? Silly bandz-inspired wear, perhaps?"

That causes Benvolio to burst into laughter, which he quickly tries to reign in so he can pretend to be very serious as he says, "A full suit of the things, in many different stripes of color." He obviously doesn't know what the Michelin man is, or what Rainbow Brite's weird sleeves are like, but he is imagining something similar regardless. "How could anyone say no to such a striking look?"

Kade winks at him. "So you'll be my test subject?"

[keep_the_peace]

He laughs again, but then says, "Of course, it would be my greatest pleasure." Will he regret this later? Possibly. That's a problem for Later Benvolio.
